How I said Goodbye a few days ago but the real day came today. I was in Dallas when Mom was in Watauga leaving to go and drop off my dog! Pain and Tears but knowing she will be okay. Lots of good memories with my Foxxy girl!
On a sad note today, I had to give up my dog,Foxxy. She is 10 years old and a Japanese breed called ”Shiba-Inu” which means Cat-Dog. She brings home birds and mice! No fooling!
She is in a “Foster Home” at the moment until she can be adopted, Permanently. I miss her already. I have had her since she was just Four years old.
Time to grieve but at least I know she is being well taken care of and has another dog, who is another Shiba-Inu, to play with, that is, IF she feels like it! (Grin)
They become a part of our family don't they, I just took in another dog, this one my friends, so in a way he is my Foster Dog, because they may get him back when the time is right

becca, i know how it is to have to give up a pet..i had to give up my beautiful maine coon, "cajun", when she was four to move to texas; it was soooo hard to have to say goodbye! i will never forget her!!
