This is an acrostic poem and just represents to me, how I feel of the bad "d" word, "Depression"! All of us must face, it happens to even the Best of us! I have had Major Depression for the last 16 years!

Dark
Evokes bad memories
Pain, all the time
Running away
Eerie when alone at night
Swift slice of the knife
Silent with the feelings
Isolated from family
Open arms to God
Night-time fear, all alone
