I thought I would write a poem which sort of updates my condition as well. I will be having a shunt revision to the brain in about 2 weeks. Thanks so much for listening guys and gals!
My body is slowly dying;
right before my eyes.
I've tried many things
over the past eighteen years -
We mothers hold on to every vestige of hope given to us in the natural realms, Beckers. But sometimes we can be barking up the wrong tree. I myself have been very close to the thinness of the veil between this life and the next, and can well understand how there is no fear when in that place of realising how strong the spirit is, and how frail the bodily flesh. There is a time to remain here, in the perceived "now", and there is a time to inhabit the greater space with God in all that is as yet unseen by our fleshly eyes. But I DO believe God is the arbitrator of such timings. We are grateful for every day on this earth as a gift of bodily life, yet we know there is far more ahead. To be painfree is a blessing. Yet there is so much more than that, to know what it means to experience "being well". I wish you peace. And the beauty of love and togetherness with your dear Mom. And, as you both hold all things lightly, the knowledge that there is power yet to heal and restore and that it is just a question, perhaps, of correct timing. I am sorry for your weariness with it all. Your courage and bravery in the face of such stark truth, as you see it, is astounding and will prevent many from being able to respond, I think. We find the subject of our own mortality very difficult until we have to face it squarely. But, whatever your portion and your space, may you live and experience it to the full and enjoy every moment of what it means to be alive in this sphere, held in the arms of those who share the journey with you. Your grace in the face of such trials is humbling. My prayer is for healing: for wholeness and completeness as you see it. Your gift of life to us is immeasurable. Bless you, Kate xx
You sure have had your share of trials, haven't you, Beckers? I'm sorry; hope the surgery goes well! You are ever in my prayers!

All of our bodies are in process of dying from the moment we are born. We are like a flower quickly fading with a soul meant for God in eternity. Beautiful honest write from a beautiful woman that God adores. Deborah:)
