I wrote this after finding out 5 years later that the doctor thought I was going to wake up BLIND from my surgery to remove my first brainstem tumor, luckily,I woke up with sight but it was double-vision which was almost permanent but I did eye exercises every day for 2-3 months and regained single vision back. It was exhausting!

It means waking up from surgery and seeing double Permanently! I am told it is only temporary though!

It means going through HELL after the crainiotomy surgery, and the doctor did not tell me what it was going to be like. I could have had the choice NOT to do the surgery!

It means finding out 5 years later that the doctor were afraid I was goinkg to wake up BLIND!

It means STILL having vision problems in my left eye especially and seeing double when I look in certain directions!

It means having to deal with my drug addiction problem now that the lesion is gone.

It means listening to MORE relaxation tapes and piano tapes(music). I am stressed out.

It means MORE seizures and grand-mals especially this year!

This was written in April 2001. I have KICKED my drug problem in January 2000 completely! I have had a relapse or two but I have gotten back up. I have now been drug free for 2 years and 6 months and 27 days. I go to Narcotics Anonymous 3 times a week. More if need be.
