My Mom may have her faults, as I see her and realize them as I get older, but she still is "Super-Mom" to me, at heart!
To me, she was just "Mom",
She was really "SuperMom" at that!
She could make the lights change colors
by "magic" when driving at the stop lights!
She knew when to tell us to go outside to see the moon full or just a sliver.
She could divide up the licks in the bowl after baking a cake, so each child got to feel "special".
There were four of us so that was a hefty job to do!
She played the role of Mom and Dad,
Quite a big thing to do back in those days!
I would not have it ANY OTHER WAY THOUGH!
I thank GOD for the MOther I had back then and for the Mother I have today!
She is my friend!
I love you Mom!

Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
