About my Grandma in South Texas!

Born 1913, December 6th
That day, the world was blessed
with a bright shining star!
Yet, how little did they know of it!
She married in 1934.
Miscarried 10 TIMES till she had John (my Dad), Herbert William and then James Rupert.
She went to COLLEGE BEFORE the officials EVEN called it a COLLEGE!
She started her OWN BUSINESS!
Yes, Grandma did know some Mighty Great Things back then
and now days too!
She had a sharp mind!
She would have been Ninety Years Old
This December.
She made me feel like "One of the boys" when I and Uncle James and Granddaddy and Cousin Phillip went out to go quail hunting one November day.
Thank you for that Grandma.
I missed the quail because Phillip got it and bragged the whole way home.
I missed.

I love you always and for all the little things you have done for me!
