Animal threat or just defending their food?

I turn and the Mom's dog
is growling,
snapping in the
air at NOTHING!
There is food
at the bottom of
the corner though,
I forgot to pick
up the OTHER DOG'S
DISH!

My dog, the OTHER dog, was in my room, doing nothing!

I talked to him,Mom's dog,
He came after me,
SNAPPING, and
SNARLING.

I RAN TO MY
CHAIR AND PULLED IT CLOSE
TO THE COMPUTER AND FROZE.
HE CONTINUED TO SNAP & GROWL
FIERCELY!

I NOTICED I HAD FOOD CLOSE SO I
FED IT TO HIM.
HE LIKED THAT!

THEN I TALKED TO HIM AGAIN, IN A NATURAL AND CALM VOICE, WHICH WAS VERY
HARD TO DO,
AND HE RELAXED AND WAS
FRIENDS WITH ME AGAIN!

ANIMALS!

Becca, I liked this one, it does show what dogs can do and how they are just a bit close to being wolves when they want...Peace, ED

My two poochies do the same thing! They're vicious hunters one minute, will kiss you to death the next.

Animals certainly do have a way of letting you know what they want! :-) Wonderful sharing!
