I have trouble realizing Mom's love for me. It is hard to explain for you have not lived within our family or experienced the troubles we have had. She found this yesterday and I wrote about it early this morning.
Mom went thru the files today, She found "My box"! In it was certificates, ribbons, awards, and a plaque! My most memorable was several First place ribbons, white, for May-Day, at the Elementary school. We always played "Tug-o-war" and we won every year because I was the largest kid on the team! Then, there was the MUSIC section! Awards for "Most helpful",etc. during my freshman year of High School. Sophmore year I was "Recording Secretary". My plaque said "Who's Who in Music-1988!" Those were the days! It felt really good to know that Mom kept that stuff after all these years and with ALL that has happened to our family! It is just one more way that lets me know that Mom really DOES LOVE ME UNCONDITIONALLY! Written November 9th, 2003 12:10am Central time All rights reserved

Sometimes moms are tough nuts to crack. My Mom nags me -- which I can not stand -- but this is her way of expressing her love. You showed what blessings moms -- and made me appreciate the support of my mom.
