I discivered last night, that I spent the night in a hotel AWAY from the house! It was the Best time I have ever had! I have not gotten away from this house in about a year and a half since my car license was taken away. My Mom and sister drive me everywhere. I am never left alone. I finally got to be ALONE and took a Spiral notebook and wrote several poems. I only watched the morning Saturday news and that was it! It was fabulous! I say everyone should get away from their regular activities and go be my themselves at least once a night at a motel, if they can afford it! Yesterday was Disability payday. I could not really afford it, but sometimes you gotta do it anyway!!!!!!
Putting my time in, cannot drive, paying bills. Gladly contribute, get out of debt, For family and me as a whole. Never realized, until today, I never have me time! I am always stuck with someone or doing something! So, tonight I got a hotel room-just me. Did not turn on the television. Have been writing poems. I am enjoying myself. I have been busy the past week, no time to preview poems! ARGHH! I should do this Once a month, if money allows! This is GREAT! Rebecca...silence is golden when we spend time with just ourselves and our precious thoughts. Once a month I think you should do just as you desire...take a day break.
