Come,
Walk with me through
these dark halls that
once were my heart

There,
In the corner
cobwebs,
the remains of
the web of lies she wove.

Look,
beneath your feet
lie
my dreams
crushed beneath
the weight of
her cruelty

Lurking,
in the shadows
an image that
my heart created

look if you must
but I
will not
can not
lest
I fall again
into her love
that is
Cold.

Omega Factor by John Henning

Take some time to walk outside of your own mind and into another, walk slowly and carefully; the mind that you step on might be your own.
