For all those who are part of the Sandwich Generation
Confused to choose How cruel and unfair I always seem to loose Very young or very old Age has no boundaries This I am told Opposites surely attract Leaving one�s life Or starting new This is a fact They are walking Front and behind Both are talking So I freeze and stand In the middle of the street Run to hold which hand? Always the way Pulled in both directions That is the cry I have today Wishing for an ear Understand the dilemma Support is not too near Most of the world Lives in a bubble Not fully understanding The immense struggle Just everyone and me Making the decision For us three

I can so empathise....I have many lady mates who are as frustrated as this.... Needing a real bloke, not Mr nicey nice or Mr Rambo, but the bloke in the middle, who stands up when needed, protects when needed, yet is a lamb to his loved ones....Never ever take second best...Just love and He'll do the rest..lest he's a wimp...

Many families know just how that is. Guess sometimes we have to pour a glass of wine and sit back and enjoy life. Being the bread, meat, and cheese is impossible for one person.

Oh boy, I sure know just how you feel being the filling to the sandwich. No matter what you say or what you do, someone is happy and someone is not, so you lose every time...
