We all seek closure.
Hardships we bear Don’t ever despair People we love Still truly care Logic difficult to find Darkness creeps in Our now warped mind Searching for reasons To our present disaster Not ever finding A desired true answer Lost is our trust Continued believing Is truly a must Our self-esteem Terribly shattered Senses are sharpened Losing what mattered Weeping blue tears Our worst enemy The unknown we fear An intricate story Still untold Questioning over again Will answers ever unfold? We definitely think not Creating scenarios And thickening the plot Trying to find That needed ending So we can be at peace For the process of mending As we dearly pray Although not too near Answers that we hoped for Will eventually appear

That needed ending

Groping in the dark! That is what we all are doing, or so it seems sometimes...I got that feeling from these lines, so very well written and emotionally expressed. Yet, there is much beauty to take in as we go...

Staci, sometimes in life the hardships and tragedies in life make us stronger people and I do believe everything has a purpose & a reason...it's hard to believe when it's happening but eventually, time we almost spell out the purpose. We grow from mistakes and wrongs and it makes us thankful for the good things we have. This poem is touching because I'm sure every readers will be able to relate to it. We must find closure to take another step forward in any situation we face in life. A great poem to absorb and think about!
