We bend our knees and pray to silence
Worship the gods of money, sex and violence
Seduced by visions of mighty wealth
Matrimony of lust in sickness and health
A f***ed up world we reside in
As we walk beyond the wall of sin
We burn our bridges before they’re built
Children of lost innocence living in guilt
Raping the skies with a thirst for power
Devouring Earth’s yield hour after hour
A f***ed up game we won’t win
As we walk beyond the wall of sin
We break the oaths and then transpire
An evil rhapsody by a wicked choir
Armies assemble under a false God
Satan himself approves with a nod
A f***ed up end starting to begin
As we march beyond the wall of sin
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
