"Just Open That Door"

It is easy to say I want,
How easy is it to say I can,
It is the most difficult thing in your life,
to actually give yourself what you really want.
Most of us are afraid to travel to an unknown,
We are fearful of the possibility of that.
The Unknown is what holds most of us back,
from achieving what we want most in life,
Happiness and success.
I have managed to "Just open that Door"
and step into the unknown,
It is an amazing place.
Full of much excitement
and unchartered territories,
that I never dreamed I would travel.
My journey through that door,
has brought me much happiness,
Joy, pain, sadness, peace and awareness
Of just how important it is
to find out that,
when you Just open that door,
Your life is open to all possibilities
and opportunities that you can only dream of!
So, Drop your fear of the Unknown and
Walk through that newly opened door
To your land of infinite possibilities and
much happiness.
Please, Just Open That Door!
Author's Notes: I have spoken of unopened doors in a previous poem, I have finally opened those doors and have been amazingly surprised to find that the unknown is very exciting and just what I should have done a long time ago!

Deciding on which door to open when faced with a hall full of possibilities and doors can be trying at times....I think I'll take what's behind door number three :=)
Energy must go, as that door is open to all those new opportunities, that are in store!

Good advice Amber but each of us must find our own key and use them when we feel the time is right. For some it comes earlier, some later, and some never at all. Glad you found your key and slew any dragons that resided on the other side.

I really like the title of your poem. The picture really inspires me, and the words blend into what is needed for all of us to open that door. Often I am my own worst enemy, doubting before I have even taken the first step. Enjoyed
