I wrote this almost exactly a year ago. I am still feeling the same way..time for a New Act!
"The Final Curtain"

As we travel along the path of our lives,
we transition, as an actor playing a role.
Each scene is part of an Act.
Each Act is a decade of time.
As each Act is finished,
we shed that role and begin another.
Each Act can be an adventure,
or a time for celebration and a chance
to play a new role on that journey of our life.
As we are changing roles,
we recapture the joy and happiness,
of our youth and transition from
one role to another.
As we are finishing our final Act,
let us be content and proud
that we were able to travel with
love and respect for our true spirit within.
As the final curtain comes down,
know in your heart that you lived
your life through adventure, love and
honesty for that is the gift that you take with you!
Author's Notes: I am about to enter into a new role on my journey. I shall shed my old and embrace the new! Onward toward my final curtain!
I welcome every new change, as I feel you are my friend!

I agree with Debbie...the many roles, the many costume changes and the many paths of life will make us fearless in the end...or paranoid as Hades.
