Raining Into Me

The gentle sound of the rain,
drew me to my veranda,
I stepped out into the darkened afternoon,
to feel soft raindrops cascading down onto my bare skin.

It was a beautiful moment,
I felt Mother Nature's tears of pain,
As i acknowledged her cries,
I began to slowly weep.

As my tears fell,
The sun peaked out from behind the darkened sky,
and radiated hope and light
throughout my body.

I knew at that moment,
I was not alone,
I was told through the rain,
that sadness has a brightness

One must seek the lightness
from any darkness that befalls,
and conquer any fears,
and always remain faithful to your truth.

Feeling the raindrops softly
embracing my spirit,
I felt cleansed and renewed.
I am ready to continue my spiritual journey.

As I ground my spirit and Universal energy flow,
I am reminded once again,
That Mother Nature and her creatures,
are truly sent to assist and watch over me.

I shall remain steadfast,
continue to write poems, stories, books,
that will enlighten and heal mankind,
until the day I become part of that Universal wisdom of Nature.
