I want reality!!!!

Someone's Fantasy

by Amber "V" Moonstone

2/5/09

So many thoughts flow through my mind,
another moment shared
on the phone,
on the internet,
on the bus, or in a restaurant.

Always becoming someone's  fantasy,
and no one's reality.
It makes for a lonely life,
wandering aimlessly in the depths
of those fantasies.

Wishing to become a reality,
to touch more than an imagination,
of what the woman really is,
the desire, the heart, the soul.

Diving into a conversation,
that leaves no room for physical
connections, only imagining
what it could be like.

Satisfied with just a laugh,
a sound of a warm voice,
that can ignite an imagination
of a fantastical love experience.

How can this be enough?
Why not take it to the next level,
cross that fantasy barrier
and grab a hold of my reality!

Clever pic and poem. I'm inclined to believe that fantasy which fills up the mind to the exclusion of reality might just be another of the devil's play grounds. We are not infinite but rather finite and must make the best of the time we have. Don't mean to sound morbid but this is reality. Blessings, J'nia

Touching, not imagining; certain, not guessing; and the sound of a warm voice that brings reality from a fantasy.
Like walking on thin ice knowing that any moment we will be engulfed.

Actually, researchers have concluded that the number of marriages resulting from internet romance has drastically increased. It is because almost everyone began their friendship on the internet now.

Fantasy is food for the mind, reality is food for the whole being; and yes, sometimes these two DO meet and become one.

Good luck to you!

The reaching out to make a connection is such a strong emotional tug, it may be that fantasy and reality will someday unite or they may always stay as separate entities, I guess only the heart of each individual can decide how much or how little they will settle for in the realm of love.

Now you are talking, fantasy belongs to the mind, reality belongs to the entire being and in reality fantasy can and does come true, beautiful writing...

Be always safe,
