to fill your dreams with promises
of nights that begin with chiffon
and finish hot flesh against flesh
in places only lovers can inhabit
where passion is pressed between
like rose mementos in secret diaries
slowly read aloud on lonely midnights
lighting the eyes with visions of lust
warming hearts with memories of love
to touch you in all the places that ache
for the attentions of a man’s fingers
to kiss your lips, not gently but with
the strength of desire that has grown
from dark soil of forbidden pleasures
to cover your sweet vanilla nakedness
with the warm caramel of my skin
feel the heat of your woman’s wine
flowing soft over my face and beard
