Show a chimp a bike and he will sure ride it well, If you take him to your home in it he will dwell, He’ll imitate, he’ll mock you, he’ll play peekaboo… Monkey see… Monkey do… the whole world is a zoo… Dress him like a human and he will play the part, Sometimes it’s hard to tell humans and him apart… Dressed, he would attract the crowds on Fifth Avenue, Monkey see… Monkey do… the whole world is a zoo… He looks well in movies on a “President’s” back, He’s smart, he does not start a nuclear attack, Chimps do not start warfare, but Presidents can do… Monkey see… Monkey do… the whole world is a zoo… Give him a paintbrush; he will splash around the paint… Is it art d’you think?… Michelangelo would faint… Monkey see… Monkey do… the whole world is a zoo… …And who is making a big monkey out of you?… © P. Human “Abstract Art” - paint splashed haphazardly all over the canvas - sells equally well. Monkey see…Monkey do… Who’s making monkeys out of all of us? Chimps? “Artists”? Art dealers? Presidents?…

Excellent Poem. I love this you've taken a serious matter made it into a song almost as I was hearing a tune while I was reading this and you are Absolutely Correct. This would be a great teaching for children to learn from day one, Very awakening and 'memorable' something to carry throughout life. Would you really like the list of the names of who is me?? The Chimps know what to do or should I say not to do. (all animals do) Excellent Peter. Excellent!! ***** 5 stars.^ ^ 2thumbs up This one needs heard and read my ALL! Superb!
