Wow! So very true. I have had both. I sit here alone on July 4th. No one to keep me company, completely 100% alone and its not nearly as bad as the lonliness I felt when married for 13 years. Well Done! Deborah
Thought provoking - although when I'm feeling lonely, I'd rather be in the company of others. Makes me feel better ... excellently penned, Peter, well done -
To bear loneliness alone does not hurt others, and does not hurt you either. It is good to be alone some times to think out your thoughts and get touch with your spirit and reality. Thanks for sharing loneliness, I understand it better now coming from you. The truth is heard in this Haiku.
