Sometimes we dance.
I advance. You retreat. We exchange roles. Retreat, advance. Advance, retreat. We circle, planning the assault. I thrust. You parry. Parry, thrust. Thrust, parry. A slow dance, closing the distance. Breath on flesh. Flesh on flesh. Lips on lips, then on flesh. We part, probing to find a weakness. I attack. You withdraw. Attack, withdraw. Withdraw, attack. It’s your turn.
