Death becomes the final deed
A creed from birth
A child deceived
The Infidels must die

Death wrap tight around a chest
A chance to serve
A final test
How sinister the lie

Death explodes across the scene
A nation shocked
An act obscene
A faith gone awry

Death will turn its face around
A world in retaliation
A race at risk
Mass annihilation

When will it end?

We are poisoning ourselves, and some are too blinded by hate to see that that is what will, and is, killing us.

The cadence of this is wonderful. The words are excellently chosen, and the rhyme scheme is great. Bravo sir... bravo indeed.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!

Next Arrivals by Robin Ouzman Hislop

Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
