There must be more, am I trapped?
Destined to the mundane,
A Spirit screaming to be free?
Inside the questions loom
What am I here for?
What contribution shall I make?
What legacies create?
Searching for answers, divine guidance
Am I blind to the response?
Am I invisible to the world?
Shall my life go unnoticed?
Then why the burning within?
Perhaps something more simple
Perhaps less lofty aspirations
Perhaps to merely add kindness to a crying world
Laughter to a lost soul
Love to a lonely heart
Surely that is worthy of existence
A legacy divinely inspired
A true gift to the heart
Is this the more I seek?
