Quietly, motionlessly focused
Spying the prize a meter away
Tensing, readying the attack
Imperceptibly inching forward
Anticipating, coveting the pray
Then Pounce! Precise fury
Driven by a hunter’s instinct
A seriously deadly form of play
Proudly delivering their catch of the day
