Misguided gestures sparking conflict
Ego summoning forth false-machismo
Words exchanged, colliding chests
Afraid to back down, afraid to attack
Posturing stupidly on
Nose to nose, intimidation’s quest
Conflict’s fear gripping the heart
Courage fueled by a six-pack
Manhood fading fast
Fear of losing face
Circumstance consuming reason
In the moment the die is cast
Fists fly, a final escalation
No one wins when no one bends
Futile conflict towards no end
Final conflict is inevitable...there is no solution for imperfect man...and history shows that we have not learned our lesson in the least. Great write!
