Ragged and torn my soul lies trampled beneath the feet of time
So many chances lost, looking back, a life not worth the cost
Invisible in the eyes of those I long to see me
Screaming against the deafening silence of loneliness
Clinging to a fading hope that somewhere its you I will find
Always facing the emptiness within a consuming frost
So I go it alone, life void of a love never to be
Knowing that in time it will end, a final and lasting coldness
