See-through
swollen silence-

I let in the air
and crumple
at the edges,

curl into myself,
my paper armor.

But paper folds
and paper tears-

split, yet not seperate,
clinging to notions romantic-

Paste me back together.

It's small
but at the core
and deep
so red
it soars

and press too hard
it fails,

closes in on itself,
exhales-

but this is what I'd give you-

but this is what I hide-

Beating....lonely....grey....

Just moving or alive
I wait to breathe
the color of love

I await the stillness of the sun

Still tumbling through
what we've become.
