Pebbles and sand in
a half a jar of pennies
by unmade bedsides
sheets are wisps of memories
curling to the music of your voice
singing sand grains of I love you’s
ignoring the rounded pebbles
pushing against my sole
twin souls pushing out winged hearts
we see the softened underbellies
of the others foibles as well
as the cosmic commonalities
and how you know me better
than I’ll ever know myself
and how I know you better
than your numbered night amours
oh but for the ease of walking away
of feeling nothing of the north and south
in us, swaying the treetops tall and long
yet-
I am climbing your lighthouse still
sitting atop it all night long
your glow centering entering
deep thrusts of your perfection within me
my need, my craving, my love despite-
the others, another’s- a sailor’s moonlight
