Love and Joy took a vacation
To see if any in the world today
Would notice if they were
Away without leave
They took only a small satchel each
For they didn’t think it would take long you see
For mortals to suddenly find themselves
Without the twins so joyous and fun
And as the years passed Love and Joy
At last met up with Peace and Hope
And the four wondered what could be wrong
With a world enamored with Hate and War
A world they had left years before
On vacations they thought would be very short
That lasted for decades and eras and more
And still only a few could recall the four
Grandfathers told their grandchildren stories
Passed down from their fathers years before
Of Love, Joy, Peace, and Hope
And what could have happened to the four

On a serious note, it is up to us to instill these values in the young in ways that they can see and enjoy the benefits of taking them into their lives.

Mankind as a whole has rejected the Source of love, joy, peace and hope. It is still available, as God is patient and still offers His peace to every individual.
