Feel more at home in antebellum gowns On the plantation or in the towns Want my own Rhett Let him say �I don�t give a ----!� Down in the bayous of the Southern states I was born, a true Southern Belle Granddaughter of a lumber baron Great granddaughter of a Plantation owner I was born a hundred years too late The time where I feel most comfortable Long gone from this high tech world Longing for another time in this very state Southern drawl pours from my lips Dainty parasol and crocheted lace gloves Hoop skirts and picture hat A real Southern belle

I have not had very much experience with southern belles but if they were imported to California, I would be most humble and gentlemanly in their presence. Great write.

Love the dress.....my favorite color.....but thank goodness I don't have to wear those....or pantiloons...thank god for smaller thingies....gimme slacks and bare feet by far!!
