One on either side

The door opens and a small white Reebok appears

Black denim jeans, a red winter jacket, black gloves

A curly blond head tops off the clothes

She stands by the truck reaching into her pocket

Then goes to the passenger side to set up the slave pump

Back to the driver’s side to set up the master pump

She stands 5’3”, a blonde curly mop over chocolate brown eyes

A button nose with a sprinkling of freckles running across

A buxom lass that declines offers of help

(The “boob” fairy was obsessed with her)

She wants the respect of other drivers

To be a real driver, one of the safest around

A Sincere Plea!

Please, my friends, if you drive an auto,

Be cautious around the big rigs!

We have blind spots and cannot see you all the time

We cannot stop on a dime; it takes us a minute or so

Please don’t turn out in front of us

Your life isn’t worth the risk

Watch out for us and help the big rigs see you

Get around them quickly and don’t stay in the blind spot!

I don’t want to lose any of you or those important to you

To a preventable accident!
