Slipping off Jacob's ladder
onto a passing cloud
that drifts me out to sea...
Laze over a man in a hollowed out log
He smiles and waves to me
We dally under the rainbow's arch
Breath in the purple hue
Drink from the joy of the yellow
Feel the meaning of its blue
Swinging onto the arm of the quarter moon
I bid the sun good-night
Lulled by the silence of grandeur
I drift in celestial light
Somewhere in sight of Jupiter's glow
I step onto a star
Weaving in and out of the Milky Way
watching angels from afar
Will this be my journey to Heaven
The pathway God leads me through
Will I go on the arm of this evening star
Or drift home...in the morning dew

How many times I've asked myself that very question, though maybe not in that same context. Nicely done, I could close my eyes and see you hanging from that quarter moon, your words painted such beautiful pictures in my mind. Almost makes one not want to awaken, doesn't it? Thanks Dick
