You can take the raindrops
& return 'em
to the sky
you can take the teardrops
& hide 'em
in my eye
you can take a flower
& watch it bloom
in the snow
you can take a pebble
& make it grow
into a mountain
you can take the desert
and give it
a fountain
you can take my heart
& make it new
Please Lord
show me what
ta' do
show me how ta' feel
help me Lord
ta' just deal
Please Lord
this is all too real
so please God
take away the tear drops
take away the rain drops
grow me a flower in the snow
take that pebble
and make it grow
Please Lord
let me know
what i should do
'bout this heartache
please Lord
for Christ's sake
please Lord
explain
how i can deal
with all this pain
Please Lord
make it change
please Lord
for Christ's sake
make it change
re-arrange
the things that be
see
i don't like the way that
they be
but
guess that
ain't up to me

All we have to do is ask. But remember, answers may or may not be what we want and answers will come in His time, not ours. Faith and belief in that faith is our foundation. Great, open-hearted words, Steve--we should all speak out. Thanks . . . b

I've never read anything more honest and full of the desire to change. This is a powerful and beautiful poem, Steve.
Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about.
You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached.
Deciding what is the core of belief.
Heb.11
[1] faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
So have faith my friend and believe.
