a poet with a poem to rhyme
a singer findin' his own time
an angel with only 1 wing to fly
we all just get by
we all just try
a writer who can write
there in the middle of the night
a dancer who can dance
prance
take their own stance
take a chance
a painter
who ain't
afarid
to paint what he/she has laid
there own the canvass
showin' their ass
knowin' their past
a driver who can drive
his car
but not too far
nor too fast
is he's ever goona' last
into the past
a walker who can walk
a mile or 2
yet they do
but what about 3 or 4
can you walk some more
each has there own thing
an angel with one wing
a poet who can sing
a singer who can rhyme
a painter who can find
his or her own time
a driver who can go slow
a walker when he's know
it's time to go
a poet who can rhyme
a singer findin' his own rythmn
that be a givein'
that be livin'
in Life's true Time
better than a nickle or a dime
livin' your Life in your Life's Time
as fast as you go
or maybe it's slow
just so you know
how you're Life can Grow
and you go
on
singingin'
wigngin'
your'r own song
as you go along
a an angel wtih 1 wing
a singer with 1 song to sing
a poet who wrote it
a walker for another mile
A driver I do be,
Can't fly, can I, with only one wing,
What the hell am I saying here in this thing,
Called a poem, a bit of prose,
My muse coming from a bell with, as well, only one ring...
Now if you have any idea as to what that means explain it to me, it just kinda sounded pretty good...as did this poem as always from the poet on the other end of the world, in Texas, if there really "IS" such a place...?
I always get fun from your writes, Steve, and this one is no different...Peace, Ed & Rufuz
