must be all that hair
down there
from offa' my beard & my head
that has lead
to where
the water just won't sink
from outta' that stink
i went to the store
whata' bore
bought some Liguid Plummer
won't do that no more
that was a bummer
'cause that didn't do it
sh*t
so i went back
and bought one more
hey, cut me some slack
least i didn't go back
agin'
so where do i begin?
the waters still were there
right where
they were before
what a bore
2 bottles
full throttles
didn't even budge it
nor nudge it
i can't sink's
the front door
man, that stinks
havin' a clogged up drain
is such a pain
so i called the Real Thing
said "hey, Plumber Man"
your tools do bring
they be the real things
he asked me..."do you understand?"
it's after hours
now i got the powers
to un-stop that sink
but stop & think...
it's double time
to unclog your rhyme
i'll be glad to do it
afterall it's your dime
i just said "sh*t"
come do it.
it only took him about 5
before He did arrive
he gave me a bill
if you will
for 95
that ain't no jive
(still glad he was alive to arrive)
at least my sink
is back alive
but it did make me
stop & think
about that stopped up sink...
a clogged up drain
is kinda like Life
it hurt's your brain
sh*t, it's a pain
you can't cut it with a knife
such is Life
ain't 'nuthin from a store bought bottle
that will cottle
nor clear that drain
in your brain
nor ease your pain
how insane
and if i could
i would
maybe i should
say...
"hey, plumber man...
can you understand?"
unclog my brain
help it to drain
away the pain
of livin' & waitin' to die
hey man, give it a try
for double time
restore my rhyme
i know it's my dime
for 95
if you can help me think
unclog my brain
unclog my sink
help me man
to understand
was it the hair
or was it just me bein' there?
he looked at me
said " man you be crazy,
or are you just lazy?"
or do you just be
one who has written poetry?
a plumber man
who could understand
how Life can be
see
he knew
he'd paid his due
too, so true
he paused
a timely refrain,
and said...
like a book we'd both read...
"it ain;t the clogged drain
causin' you pain"
it ain't the sink
causin' you to drink
stop & think...
maybe you just be insane
so i gave him 95
and a high 5
and we said goodbye
ain't no lie
then i started to think
about me & my sink
and i poured me another
oh brother,
i hate to think
so i poured me another
hit me agin', my brother
me & my sink
we started to go down
no more stink
around
no more old water to be found
just the sound
of an un-clogged drain
just fealin'
and dealin'
with Life's pain
and learnin' to be linsane
with an un-clogged drain
but me & my sink
we still think
we both understand...
we both get clogged up or down
but then
when
we do
what do we say or do?
it's The Plumber Man
we call around
'cause He do understand.
Thank You GOD
for opening my drain.
Thank YOU GOd
for easing my pain,
for keepin' me from goin' insane.
Ha Ha!!!!!!!!!!!! This is terrific! I wish I could be so cheerful after my plumber leaves!!! I'm usually receiving CPR because the damn bill was so much that it caused my heart to stop. :-) Michelle
