I have an Addiction
an Affliction
a Reflection
of my Defection

There in Me
there must be
a Hole
in my Whole

that i keep trying to Fill
but still
I never get Full
I feal It's Pull

drawing me In
Within
where I get Lost
and I pay The Cost

I go without for a while
that's my Style
but then once agin'
i Begin

to Think
and then I Sink
back into Oblivion
and I grow thin, there Within

I always say to my Self,
what else,
this time won't be the Same
but, that's not the name of This Game

but it always Is
It 'tis what It 'tis
a disease
a Dis-Ease

It cause me such Pain
It drives me Insane
this Addiction
this Affliction

for Now I'm sober & clean
i'm not so Lean
but It's always There
i can feal it's Stare

so pray for Me
help me to See
The Light
to fight The Fight

each day, each night
please pray i don't take Flight
back into that Hole
there in My Soul
