no captions
just words

the last poem i decided to write
was to write this poem tonight
i seem to have lost my sight
there, somewhere in the night
i have lost my sight, lost my light
i can see no day
day has passed it's own way
it never did tend to stay
anyway
i can't seem to write
nothing seems right
tonight
without a light
my poetry has passed it's way
words written another day
i have no more to say
i have no more to write
i have no more light
not tonight
try as a might
i have lost my sight
except with this last poem
where i am able to roam
to ramble
to gamble
with nothing to say
except my poems
they roams
they have fled
words that were read
now words that seem dead
written in yesterday
another day
or was it another night
with no more words to play
with no more words to write
no more words this night

this is the last time
the last rhyme
perhaps the first time
that the words were mine
words that were said
just from my head
words that were led
into poetry
into me
poems of history
poems you will see
me

the phrases
the phazes
the dazes
the daisies too
poems about me & YOU
true
and blue
got the clue
i don't do you

in times that didn't last
in time's that are past
in spells that were cast
in forever's
in the never's
or whenever's
or for ever & ever's
how clever

but this one last time
i chose to rhyme
i chose to write
this night
poetry
a poem
me
a song
to be a singer
who's gone wrong
a real wing-dinger

a slayer of words
a player of life
a poet
who show's it
tonight
with no more strife
no more swords

a last poem
for those who know him
his last poetry
words written in history

the last poem
the last song
a poet & a singer
a lier who tried
a gambnler who died
a man who can showem'
the last words that were read
before he was dead
or mislead
or who shed
the past
who wouldn't let it last
forever
there are no nevers

except the last poem
when there are no more
words to say
when what is in store
are only word play
