they lay there
they stay there
they die

Good write. Death makes one more aware of life and the desire to "know." R

Got the following in my email today:
"First I was dying to get out of high school and go to college,
then I was dying to get out of college and start working,
then I was dying to get married and have a family,
then I was dying for my family to grow up and be on their own,
and now, I am dying, and I forgot to learn how to live.

Lesson: While we're living in the now, and miserable, God is living in the NOT YET, and working things out. This too shall Pass Steve. This too, whatever it is, shall pass. Advice to whomever this is written for, regardless of the reason, nothing is fixed by dying, for dying doesn't worry about who wants to die.

She Intrigues Me, Revelations Of Love by Jon Willey

If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
