I hate to say it - "This is the first poem from you that I don't like." - even though I know this is probably how you feel about your dad.
I hope you won't write about him like he's your biggest burden, be thankful that he's still alive and is keeping you company. I guarantee you'll miss him a whole lot when he's gone.
