i was angry
justified
mystyfied
so i called a friend
on ad
she said to me
"write"
and so i do
words for you
no poetry
no rhyme
just gettin' rid of the anger
the pain
the bein' insane
i see the full moon
on a December night
i remeber the snow
which we never know
i see the sunshine
in the day
i see clouds
in the sky
i remember rain
when it falls
i've known pain
when it calls
music i've heard
poems i've written
songs with a word
rhymes that were hidden
green grass
old trees
old dogs
cats
squirells
rats
blue jeans
shorts
t-shirts
8-tracks
lp's
cassettess
bar rooms
bar stools
empty bottles
empty glasses
bi-focals
the local yocals
fast cars
pickup trucks
old f**Ks
or new
pc's
want to be's
used to be's
wanna' be's
shoulda' been
back when
and then
again
begin
once more
what's in store
what's on the shelf
for mySElf
younger women
who get older
words i said before
feelin' i felt
cards i was dealt
hold 'em or fold 'em
she had red hair
she has blue eyes
stars
late at night
i write

the wind blows

the cat howels
the dog does his dog thing
lovers love
drinkers drink
druggers drug
writters write
poets

My goodness what a great rant. Now that this is out have a good belch and Happy New Year.
This is great! It has a sincerity about it and it expresses a trail of thoughts and feelings that many of us can relate to. The words seem like a spontaneous and flowing release of steam and energy escaping from a pressure valve. Clap! Clap! Clap!
