just yesterday
when i was young
i'd think about
all the songs
i hadn't sung
and i'd shout
i didn't know
all the wrongs
i hadn't done
just yesterday
time seemed so slow

then day by day
Life came my way
Time passed it's way
and with each song
i'd sing
i'd face the wrong
my song would bring
i'd just go along
another song i'd sing

and Now
Today
as i look back
on yesterday
somehow
i lack
a song to sing
so i just wait
for whay my Life may bring

and i pray
for just yesterday

just yesterday
when my life had just begun
just yesterday
my song had yet to be sung
just yesterday
when i was young

ain't it funny how time slips away
into "just Yesterday"

This is really beautiful and somewhat like another one that I heard with the same theme but really good and crisp.
