(this is a re-post of a re-post, and probably of a previous re-post. it's one of my personal favorites and i believe it expresses well my philosophy about my writing.)
i like ta' play with words.
change 'em all around.
take a phrase & turn it,
see what i've found.
throw 'em on the paper,
shift their shape & sound.
take a common sayin'
flip it upside down.
see if when ya' turn it
it makes a smile or frown.
take the words & say 'em.
sing 'em in my head.
try ta' find the rythmn
follow where it's lead.
i like ta' play with words.
change 'em all around.
throw 'em on the paper.

Steve, I LIKE TO PLAY WITH WORDS has splendiferous cadence. The way it reads sounds exactly like what it says. (Did that make sense? LOL) This is a cleverly-cute play with words. I like this one immensely.
