i love Sunrise
that certain way
that Surprise
when a New Day
does Play
the Hue
of shades of bright pink & yellow
as the sky turns blue
i feel quite Mellow
yup, I do
i be a happy fellow

i love Daytime
each day with It's own Rythmn
each day with It's own Rhyme
each Day given
is another Day still Livin'
blue sky or gray
rain or shine
come what may
each Day is mine

and Sunset
you can bet
i always will Let
It Be
another Day well Met
as I See
the Sun sink
into shadows of blues & pale pink
'tis then i think
about The Sunrise
and It's Surprise
and bein' Alives
and The Day
that came my Way
a Day I hope i do not Forget
nor Regret
there as I see
there where I be
at Sunset

but, there's Something about The Night
that Time without Light
except for The Moonlight
and A Star or 2 so Bright
there In The Darkness
there In The Starkness
that Blinds my Sight

a moment in Time
a moment Sublime

Thoughts that are Given
Thoughts that are Driven
by The Nights Rhyme
Night Time

from Twi-Light
'till Mid-Night
the World goes on & on & on...
as if the Day has not Gone
still the same Old Song
just goin' Along

but at 12:01
a new Day's already Begun
yesterday's Song
has already been Sung
Today's Write or Wrong
is Still Young
It's just Begun

and from 2
or is it 3
maybe it's 4
or 5
'course i thought Before
I knew more
when Life is True
when Life just Be
an Open Door
when Life is Alive
when Life does Strive
to Survive
It's in those Hours
when Life has strange Powers
just before SunLight
before The Flowers
There Is SomeThing about The Night that's when "I" write

they say...
"It's always Darkest
just before Dawn"
STARKEST!!!
just before you're Born
into a New Day
but I have ta' say,
if I may,
I Love Ta' Play
under The Moonlight
under the Starlight
'cause There Is SomeThing about the Night
that I find so Bright
There is SomeThing In The Night
where I Find Sight
there's SomeThing In The Night
Where I See
there's SomeThing In The Night
Where I Be
there's SomeThing About The Night
after The SunRise, after The Day's Play, after Twi-Light
There Is SomeThing about The Night
that just Might
Be.

There Is SomeThing In The Night
that Pleases Me
SomeThing In The Night
that eases Me
into Today, each Day
there's SomeThing In the Time
WithOut Light
that gives me Sight
Where I See
there's SomeThing In The Night
Where I Play
Where I Stay
with Word's & Rythmn
there's SomeThing In the Night
Where I'm Given'
Where "I" Rhyme
with "ME"

There Is Some Thing In The Night
Where I See Light...

There Is SOMETHING In The Night!
