(I'm an alcoholic. known it for years & years. Cost me a lot tryin' ta' live in my disease. Over those years I've been in & out (mostly OUT) of the AA program. Went Back today to my first meeting in a long while. THAT'S what this poem is about.)
been thru That Door
before
it's always been the same
been at a point where
i didn't want ta' play the game
no more
yup, i been there
before
maybe this time i'll change
re-arrange
ain't it strange
i keep comin' back agin' & agin'
tryin' ta' begin
