night tunes

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

when the dawn feels like another night
when the sun comes up
and there ain't no light
when try as you may try as you might
all you get is another day of night
when the darkness comes and it hangs around
you can feel it's sounds
you know it's tones
you know it's tune
when the sun has become the moon
and it haunts ya.
day and night night and day
the darkness lays
the starkness plays
you can only pray
that beyond the darkness
there's a light that lay
somewhere
out there in the sky
maybe then you'll know
why the sun comes up
the sun goes down
and dark is still all around
maybe then you'll hear the sound
you'll hear the tone and the tune
there in the moon
lost in the day
that went away
lost in the sound
of another day
lost in a song
gone it's own way
