think i'm insane
some blame it on the pain
but, in the main
ain't much to gain
in bein' sane
like bein' the track, not the train

always been a little bit crazy
just a bit mentally lazy
livin' Life in a daze
passin' thru each phase
like Life was a paraphrase
lost in Life's shawdowy haze

lookin' for Love's sweet Dream
when Love's just Life's scheme
coffee black
no sugar, no cream
i lost track
never got Love's knack

then i fell in Love
not sure what i was thinkin' of
thought i'd found my Turtle Dove
but she gave me a shove
fell offa' my cloud
cryin' out loud
hell, i ain't proud

think i'm in sane
some blame it on the pain
but, in the main
ain't much to gain
bein' sane
like bein' the track, not the train

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
