how easy it is
to forget
for me to let
Life's challenges swallow
me. hollow
me.
to see the gray
and not the blue
to think the "Can'ts"
and not the "Do's"
to feel the sunrise
as a sunset
how easy it is
to forget...
that with each day
there comes my way
there is a "May"
and a "Yet"
that each sunrise
brings a surprise
and each sunset
has been
a day well met.
(thank you dreamweaver for giving me back my sunrises and sunsets)
