i sit and ponder
i sit and wonder
at the things
my Life has brought
at the dreams
that i have sought
at the moments
i have bought
at all
my "shoulds" & my "oughts"
some make me glad
some make me sad
some are good
some are bad
just memories i've had
sometimes blues skys
sometimes gray
sometimes just another
way to pay
sometimes just another day
dreams never seem to stay
moments in time
rythmn & ryhme
a Life sublime
like the glass cage
of a mime
inside looking out
without a doubt
just memories
of my Life
sometimes
they cut
like a knife
