that's when the demons come.

i can't sleep
and the demons show me
the how's & why's,
they torment me
with the truths.

they torture me
with my choices,
with their voices,
with Me.
there in the silent darkness

some things are dead.
some things are dying.
i will die too.
that's when the demons come
to tell me it might be

and i feel old.
