don't whip the mule
'till ya' load the wagon.

don't be cruel.
don't start braggin'
'till the loads
on the roads.

the wagon
start's saggin',
fool.
it's the weight.
maybe it's fate.

maybe it's the wagon.
Life starts saggin',
don't whip the mule.
don't be cruel.
fool.

mules dont take kindly to fool,
kick, strike, or bite
a mule is going to hurt ya, fool
